I can't believe it's already my birthday! So many things have changed since I turned 21. I switched apartments, took two more littles in my sorority, became a grand big and scheduled my last semester of classes.
I have so much to be grateful for that happened to me this last year. I feel like 21 was the year of growing, learning and really breaking out of my shell. Sometimes I feel like I'm so ahead of other people in life, sometimes I look at what other people have accomplished at a younger age and worry, but other times I feel like I am exactly where I should be.
On a less philosophical note, to celebrate turning twenty-two, I decorated a cup to drink my morning cup of coffee and also baked these ridiculously delicious duncan chocolate cupcakes. I decorated them with chocolate icing, white pearls and gold glitter (all editable). I also got my nails done and I am totally obsessed with the way they turned out!
So here's to turning 22 and a special thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate it with me.
XO,
It's that time of the week again for my weekly pinspiration!
Here's what caught my eye this week on Pinterest:
Keep up with all of things I find by following me on Pinterest

What has inspired you this week?
I don't know about you, but the holiday season is my favorite time of the year. It can also be an extremely expensive time which can be rough when you're in college. Even though money can be tight, I still enjoy looking nice for holiday gatherings like Thanksgiving dinner. I picked out some cute dresses that won't break the bank for the rapidly approaching day.
I hope these dresses give you some inspiration for your look on Thanksgiving day!

For the past five years I have been absolutely addicted to Pinterest. On my personal account, I have around 80 boards containing over 10,000 pins! (Yikes). Yes, that is a crazy amount, but I always find myself scrolling through boards finding new inspiration for recipes, DIY, getting fit and even what to wear for the day. I thought it would be fun to host a "Pinspiration Phriday" each week where I can post some of my favorite finds that week and you can leave your favorites in the comments below!
I hope you all have a great weekend. Don't forget to leave your pinspirations in the comments below & share this post with your friends!

When you are in a rushed frenzy, it is nice to know that you can just grab your bag and go. I started from a young age packing my bag the night before school. This can help you to relax and breath a little easier knowing that you'll have everything you need for classes, whether you are running late or not.
Here are my essential class must haves:
- A pen and/or pencil (obvi).
- I prefer these awesome marker type pens from Paper-Mate
- A 3-5 subject notebook.
- I prefer bigger notebooks so that I can take the same one to each class.
- A folder or 3-ring binder.
- A small zippered bag containing:
- A mini stapler.
- Gum.
- Hand Sanitizer.
- Fingernail Clippers (I always get a hangnail in the middle of class).
- Lip Balm
- Headphones
- Bobby Pins / Hair Ties
- USB
- Glasses if you wear them.
- A calculator.
- A water bottle.
- A snack of some kind.
- Your phone.
- An agenda.
- and finally, your bag.
- these are my favorite choices:

I always find that the more stuff I bring, the less stressed I am when I suddenly get a hangnail or forgot to eat before I left. I hope that you find these suggestions helpful and maybe give your school bag an update. Be sure to share this post if you found it helpful!
What do you take in your college bag that I haven't included?
